The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Federal Railroad Administration have scheduled three public meetings in May to gather information on moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) among individuals occupying safety sensitive positions in highway and rail transportation. The sessions to be held May 12, May 17 and May 25 in Washington, D.C., Chicago and Los Angeles, respectively, follow a March 10 advance notice of proposed rulemaking on the topic. All three sessions will be webcast. For more information, read the April 28 Federal Register notice.
